• • a) The members of the Board shall be elected in the General Body Meeting
  • b) The Members of the Board so elected in the General Body Meeting shall hold office for a maximum of two years, from the date of their election, with the exception noted in section (g) below
  • c) The members of the Board shall be elected from the Members of the Association

For more details of the Bye laws, please refer to this: Nominations shall be invited as per the election process which will be conducted by a Non-Member, non-Resident of the Association, designated as Electoral Officer by the Board of Managers.

• • 1. d) Electoral Officer shall have the right to choose Assistants from amongst the volunteers derived from the General Body, and his/her choice shall be final
    2. e) A member of the Association shall NOT be eligible to contest in the election to the

Board immediately after having held a position as a Member of the Board for one term of two years

• 1. f) All Elections to the Board and Office Bearers shall take place by secret balloting if there is no consensus or unanimous choice in the meeting
  2. g) The Board is constituted of 13 Members. In order to have continuity and also ensure new minds participate in the Association, a part of the board, who have completed term of two years shall resign/retire each year voluntarily or by lot. Seven Members shall retire in odd years and six Members shall retire in even years.
